Wordle Rack

Wordle Rack V3.5
  • It's a free visual guide (not a cheat!) to help you solve WORDLE.
  • You can try out combinations on a scrabble-like rack, move letters around, try different combinations.
  • Check words to see if they are valid, and if they have been previously used in WORDLE.
  • And yes of course it's free.

How can I improve my Wordle score?

What is a good Wordle average score?

Many regular players aim for an average between 3.5 and 4.0. That means regularly solving the puzzle in 3 goes, to compensate for those days when you get a 4 or higher.

You can compare your score with the average for your country, and internationally, by selecting your country in the 'Wordle Averages' panel.

Try the WORDLE Scrabble Rack

It’s not a cheat – it’s a free visual guide that lets you:

  • Arrange letters on a Scrabble-style rack to try different combinations.
  • See patterns more clearly so you can make smarter guesses.
  • Check if a word has previously been used in Wordle.

The Scrabble Rack is now version 3.5: The changes are:

  • Tile turns yellow if you place it in an incorrect (already guessed) position
  • Long press on a correct tile to turn it green and lock it in place
  • Long press again on a locked tile to unlock it
  • Automatically sort your words into 'possibilities' and 'Previous Answers' (words that have previously been used in Wordle, so won't come up again)

Some players have reported improving their average score by about 0.5 guesses by using the Wordle Scrabble Rack – for example, dropping from around 4.0 to 3.5 – so it’s definitely worth a try.
